Art director
Studied social communication at FAFICH/UFMG and at the Escola de Belas Artes/UFMG(Fine Arts School). During the 80’s, she dedicated herself to experimental photography supported by UNICAMP – São Paulo and sponsored by Polaroid do Brasil. Participated in Salões Paulista de Arte Contemporânea – São Paulo and held exclusively individual exhibitions at the Galeria da Fotoptica – São Paulo and the Centro Cultural Cândido Mendes – Rio de Janeiro. During the 90’s, publicity and marketing were her specialty work fields. Developed various partnerships with private initiatives and NGOs. In 1996, she created, along with the World Health Organization – WHO, the first freshwater awareness camapign in Brazil. Currently, she coordinates the DoDesign-s team and assists, among other projects, the AGRECO – SC (first organic agricultue co-op in Brazil), “Slow Food do Brasil” movement, and the Accueil Paysan NGO (France).
E-media director
Graduated in 2003 from the Escola de Belas Artes da UFMG (Fine Arts School). Since 1998, he has been involved with site development and experimental multimedia. Has published articles in sites, such as WebInsider, Revista Etcetera, Círculo Cauê de Arquitetura, and Slow Food Magazine. With an expertise in various forms of art and photography he participated in various exhibitions such as: Cabin Bagagge at the IV World Social Forum (Mumbai/Índia), Next 5 Minutes (Holland), Reverberations at the World Cultural Forum (São Paulo), M.A.I.O Gallery (Salvador), SPA Semana de Artes Visuais (Recife´s Visual Arts Week). At DoDesign-s, he developes websites with different technologies, such as: Flash, CSS+HTML, Joomla! and WordPress (open source softwares for content management).
Consultor
Sociology degree at FAFICH-UFMG, and master’s degree in Rural Administration with emphasis on RURAL Development at UFLA (Universidade Federal de Lavras). Sixth generation descendant of the family that owns the Fazenda Cachoeira (1860) – Southern Minas Gerais. For over 10 years she has been converting the coffee plantation of the farm to organic agriculture (IBD and JAS). Produces and exports quality coffee to the US, Europe, and Japan, and is co-founder of the BSCA. Works as a trader for small organic co-ops from Sul de Minas and Bahia, among them, COOPFAM of Poço Fundo, certified by Fair Trade. Consultor for the conversion of farms to organic agriculture.
